Following the lockdown, many businesses have recognised that they can save substantial costs by downsizing the office and allowing their employees to continue working from home. A recent report found that SME’s could save an average of £1,554 a month by downsizing their office space. The report also revealed that London-based companies could save an astounding £27,970 a year by allowing just 20 per cent of their workforce to work remotely. In high rent cost areas such as London, there are clearly substantial savings to be made!
