How does forms/survey capture work?

1- Collection

We will set up and manage a dedicated PO box for all incoming forms/surveys. Once received, mail will be opened and logged onto our internal tracking system.

2 - Scanning

Envelopes are opened and paper documents are manually prepared/scanned to the required output (for example PDF).

3 - Capture

Once in an electronic format, our team will begin the process of extracting data from the forms/surveys using sophisticated OCR and ICR technologies.

4 - Delivery

Extracted data can be formatted into a CSV/Excel file and transferred via SFTP, encrypted USB or uploaded into FreeDocs for on-going access. 

Collection & PO box management

We always take the time to discuss every fine detail of your data capture project. With an internal fleet of collection vehicles, we can arrange the uplift and transportation of your existing archive to Storetec’s production centre.

For on-going campaigns, we can set-up and manage a dedicated PO box for your customers to continually return surveys/forms too.

Manual & automated capture

When commencing the data capture project, we will initially digitise your form or survey into an electronic image, for example, PDF or TIFF. Following this, will we utilise advanced OCR and ICR technologies to extract key data. 

As we employ both manual and automated capture services, we can extract data from any type of question style on your forms and surveys. For example multiple-choice, rating scale, Likert scale, matrix, demographic and even open-ended questions.
